all the details. good morning. >> reporter: jon, good morning. in just a few minutes, president obama will lead the nation in a moment of silence the moment the first plane hit the first tower on september 11th, 2001. and he will today go to the pentagon where they're having a memorial as well. the president and mitt romney both pulling their ads, negative ads, off tv today in remembrance of the more than 3,000 victims of 9/11, those who died on that day. vice president biden in shanksville, pennsylvania, today where he'll speak at the flight 93 memorial. they are still trying to get $5 million together to finish that one, even though it was dedicated a year ago on the tenth anniversary. mitt romney today at the national guard association convention in reno, nevada. he will speak there in what's said to be a nonpolitical speech. and as was mentioned, as my colleague, danielle, mentioned, no one at ground zero. the president is staying here. they want to keep the focus off the politicians and on the people who were impacted by 9/11. >> okay. well, it's awfully interesting, no surprise
